Tiemeyer
Dec 14, 1976 — Oct 24, 2026
Wichita, KS
Andrew Brett Tiemeyer, age 49, of Wichita passed away peacefully at his home on October 24, 2026. Born to Jerry and Deborah (Jarboe) Tiemeyer on December 14,1976, Andy was a graduate of Bishop Carroll Catholic High School and Fort Hays StateUniversity yet was a faithful Kansas State Wildcat throughout his life.
Growing up Andy was a gifted athlete, especially in baseball and wrestling. He cherished spending time outdoors and loved fishing, camping, canoeing in Missouri and snow skiing in Colorado. He enjoyed collecting baseball cards, watching all manner of sports, and was never one to shy away from a political debate.
Andy will be remembered as a son, father, brother, uncle, and friend whose life touched many in meaningful ways. Though he endured many challenges in his later years, Andy persevered with quiet determination and strength through trials that would have broken many others. His family carries forward his memory with gratitude for the time they shared.
Andy is survived by his son, Blake, of Seattle, Washington; Blake’s mother Robyn Belt; his father and stepmother Jerry and Kathy Tiemeyer, all of Wichita; his sisters Kara (Chris) Harris of Derby, Lindsey (Chris) Hohlwein of Columbia, South Carolina, and Alicia (James) Krise of New York; stepbrothers Kyle and Corey Smith of Wichita; nieces and nephews Callie and Colton Harris, Taylor Davis, Aurora and Jamison Krise, and numerous friends.
Andy was preceded in death by his mother, Debby Tiemeyer, in 2024.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
