Anthony "Tony" Thompson, 58, passed away on April 6, 2026, in Wichita, KS.

He was born on January 26, 1968, in Nebraska City, NE to Edwin R. and Lynda L. (Sheib) Thompson. In 1981, he moved to Wichita, KS where he resided until his death.

He is survived by his spouse, Shanda Harnden; daughter, Alexis (Kyle) Patterson; grandsons, Kohen and Everett Patterson; mother and stepfather, Lynda and Rick Myers; mother-in-law, Cassandra Harnden; sisters, Jeana Thompson and Victoria Thompson Smith and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ed Thompson.

There will be a Celebration of Life held Sunday, April 26, 2026, between 1 - 4 p.m. at VFW Post 3115, 4801 W. Douglas Ave., Wichita, KS 67209.
