Baylee Nicole Wisley, age 31, passed away peacefully at her home in Mesa, AZ on Friday, October 11, 2024. A memorial service will be held at Baker Funeral Home West Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
Baylee was born on September 25, 1993, to Jimmie and CeCe Wisley in Wichita, KS. She liked playing golf and was on the golf team in high school. She graduated from Wichita Southeast High School in 2012. She went on to further her education at Wichita State University and Fort Hays State University. She completed her Bachelors in English, she went on to complete two Masters' degrees: the first Masters in Applied Studies for Kinesiology and Exercise Science and the second in Education with a focus in Curriculum and Instruction. Baylee taught Language Arts at Brooks Middle School in Wichita and Derby Middle School. Most recently, she did instructional design for online education. She loved telling jokes, hiking, yoga, traveling, and playing with her Yorkie Molly and her cat Chloe.
Baylee is survived by her parents, Jimmie and CeCe, sister Kristy (JC), sister Kaytee, nephew Mason, niece Ellie Jo, Granny Jodie Busenitz, Poppy Cal Busenitz. Aunt Amy Helin (Chad), Uncle Billy Smith (Angie), Aunt Wanda Robertson (Steve), Uncle Larry Wisley (Sandi), numerous cousins, as well as her best friends Mai Nguyen and Liz Shetler. The family would also like to thank Kara Cromwell, Baylee's coworker, who has supported our family during this difficult time.
Baylee was preceded in death by: Grandpa Rex Wisley, Grandma Carlotta Gottschalk, and Aunt Linda Wisley.
