Belenda G. Crawford, 75, of Wichita, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2024. She was born on August 5, 1949, in Batesville, Arkansas, and was beloved wife of Boyd Dean Crawford for 25 years.

Belenda was a devoted mother to her three children: Steven (Michelle) Schniepp, Jason (Cristie) Schniepp, both of Wichita and Melissa (John) Hosler of Grand Haven, MI. She was also a caring stepmother to Kim Rosengold of New York and Shaun (Erica) Crawford of South Dakota. Belenda cherished her role as a grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, always showering them with love and affection. She is survived by her brother, Danny Provence, her sister, Teresa (Doug) Burns and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Garlin and Hydee Provence, Altha and Ray Hoggard, her brother, Teddy Provence, and her favorite pet, Zach.

A proud graduate of Derby High School, Belenda worked for many years in Sales at Ultra-Modern Pool and Patio and Kelly Manufacturing. She was known for her love of Nature and wildlife, often finding joy in the simple pleasures of the outdoors.

Belenda's greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially spoiling her grandchildren. She was a passionate supporter of St. Jude's Hospital and was dedicated to causes like saving the bees and protecting wolves. Her kindness, wisdom, and mischievous spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Belenda's legacy of love, laughter and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
