Brenda DuCoing, 75, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on March 3, 2026.

Brenda was born on January 23, 1951, in Wichita, Kansas, to Audrey Clark Carroll Jr. and Uyvonne Carroll. She lived a life rooted in faith, kindness, and generosity. A devoted Christian woman, Brenda spent much of her time serving others, volunteering at local food pantries, and giving as much of her time as she could in service to the Lord.

Brenda was known for her strong work ethic throughout her life. She worked for the California Forestry Department, painting fire trucks, and later worked for the Pepsi-Cola bottling company. She took pride in her work and approached everything she did with dedication and perseverance.

Outside of work, Brenda had a spirited personality and enjoyed life fully. In her younger years, she participated in roller derby, something she often looked back on with fond memories. After retiring, she devoted much of her time to helping others and supporting her community.

Brenda will be remembered as a deeply loving and generous woman. She had a heart for people and was the kind of person who would give her last dollar to someone in need. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family and the time she spent with them.

She is survived by her children, Tammy DuCoing and Shane Overlees; her sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Stuart Oliver; her brothers, Randy Carroll and his wife Shalene, and Dave Carroll and his wife Becky; as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Brenda will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her generous heart, and the love she shared so freely with others.
