Charles “Eddie” Moore Sr was born in Columbus, Kansas on July 18,1939 to Eugene and Doris Moore as 1 of 8 children.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Eugene and Doris Moore; brother Donny Moore; sisters Mary Ploger and Levon Clark; and nephews Danny and Mike Moore.

He is survived by wife Judith Ann Moore (Eakins) of Wichita; son Eddie (Lori) Moore of Wichita; brother David (Fern) Moore of Wichita; sisters Connie (Robert) Nibarger of Texas, Doris Burnett of Oklahoma and Grace (Larry) Skipton of Garden City; as well as many grandchildren, many many great grandchildren and lots of nieces and nephews.

Eddie Sr. started his love for music as a young boy. Anything music related caught his eye. He started his career playing in his dads band in high school then joined the army in October of 1961. He was stationed in Germany where he was able to tour Europe playing at officers clubs. After he was honorably discharged in October of 1964, he went home to Deerfield, Kansas where he met his 1rst wife. In 1970 he had his only son who was his pride and joy, His son became his best friend, stagehand and partner in crime. He was a very accomplished musician that played in many clubs in Wichita and all across the United States. In 1976 he married Judith Ann Moore (Eakins) in Ponca City, Oklahoma. They met when he was playing at the Canterbury Inn and spent over 50 years together. In February 1985 he and Don Clark were hired by club owner Duke Meeks to play in Marbella Spain over a 2 year period. He has played for numerous celebrities and with countless famous musicians. Eddie will be missed by all that knew him as he touch many lives.
