Charles Clyde Parker (1955-2026) passed from this world among loved ones in Wichita, Kansas, on January 5, 2026. He was born in Woodward, Oklahoma, on January 18, 1955, to parents Benny Parker and Ina Pearl Parker (Maddox) both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Shirley Fulgroat (Short), and his father-in-law, Bob Fulgroat.

Charles was a loving partner to his wife, Sabrina, for 45 years; the couple married in 1989. Sabrina and Charles bonded over a shared love of softball, but their bond was forged through mutual admiration, determination, and respect for one another.

A doting and involved father, Charles encouraged his children through athletics, education, and friendship. He never hesitated to deliver forgotten homework, supervise field trips, and provide for his children whenever he was needed. Those who knew Charles knew him as someone who showed up—reliably, quietly, and without hesitation.

Charles began his career with Southwestern Bell in 1976 as a lineman, moving up with the company to retire as a network specialist in 2002. His career reflected the same reliability and work ethic he brought to every part of his life.

Charles is survived by his wife, Sabrina Parker (Fulgroat), his siblings, Donna Parker, Billy Parker, and Marvin Parker, his children, Rachel Lauren-Parker Mulvihill and Caleb Parker, and his son-in-law, Harrison Mulvihill.

A service honoring Charles' life will be held on January 31 at Baker Funeral Home West (3224 N Tyler Road, Wichita, KS 67205) at 2:00 p.m. Charles will be deeply missed and remembered for the steadiness, love, and devotion he brought to his family and friends.
