Rizley
Dec 31, 1961 — Feb 20, 2026
Wichita
Christina M. Rizley, 64, passed away peacefully at her home in Wichita, Kansas, on February 20, 2026, at 6:23 a.m. She was born on December 31, 1961, in Ellsworth, Kansas, to Walter and Anne Keller. Her father, Walter, passed away when Christina was young. Her mother later married Darrell Ehrlich, who lovingly raised Christina and her siblings as his own.
Christina was a woman of deep and unwavering Christian faith, whose life was defined by love, compassion, and selflessness. She consistently put her family and others before herself, offering kindness, strength, and encouragement to everyone she met. Her faith guided her actions and relationships, and she lived as a true example of grace and devotion.
On September 25, 2001, Christina married the love of her life, Darrel Rizley. Together, they shared a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories, especially during their travels together. She also found joy in the quiet and creative art of cross-stitch, a reflection of her patience and thoughtful nature.
Christina was a devoted mother and grandmother who treasured her family above all else. She is survived by her loving husband, Darrel Rizley; her children, Rashelle Rucker; Jarod Rucker (Sarah); Alyssa Smith; Jacob Rucker (Veronica); and Johannon Rucker (Kirsten); and her beloved grandchildren, Braedyn Smith, Brynn Smith, Bryce Smith, Kendall Rucker, Elliott Rucker, and Grayson Rucker.
She is also survived by her siblings: David Ehrlich (Connie), Richard Ehrlich, Laura Holland (Kurt), and Jane Soukup (Roy). Christina's family was the center of her world, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through each of them.
A viewing will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Baker Funeral Home - 3224 N Tyler Rd. A graveside service will follow on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Wilson, Kansas.
Christina will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her loving heart, her steadfast faith, and the countless lives she touched.
I n lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Christina's honor to the Wichita Cancer Foundation, founded by Dr. Dakhil, Christina's oncologist, or to The Movement Church in Wichita, Kansas, where Christina faithfully attended and found great community. These organizations reflect Christina's strength, faith, and the care and compassion that meant so much to her.
