Christine Annette Jay-Felix, formerly Christine Annette Cunningham of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the age of 63.

She was born on May 1, 1963, in Van Nuys, California to Jack Vincent Cunningham and Jacqueline Ann Lapin. Christine graduated from Wichita North High School and went on to work for many years in communications as a call center representative and was known for her positive attitude and dedication.

Christine was married to Emmett Charles Jay-Nesahkluah for 18 years until his passing in 2015.

She later married Jesse Jose Felix in 2017 with whom she shared 9 years of marriage.

She enjoyed fishing, camping, collecting antiques, and spending time with family. She loved animals and spent her time helping local organizations find homes for unhoused pets and reunite lost animals with their families.

Christine is survived by her husband Jesse Jose Felix; her children, Charles Davis, Carol Ann JayNesahkluah (Matt), Annie Zaring, Rebecka Gray, and Hazel Elaine Nesahkluah-Martinez (Isai); her stepchildren, Humberto "Tido" Rodriguez, Rachel Gutierrez (Taylor), Alberto Ortega, Jesus Ortega, Stephanie Ortega, Cassandra "Cassie" Eldred, and Samantha Felix; her grandchildren, Aiyana JayNesahkluah, Leilani JayNesahkluah, Aiden Gutierrez, Ellie Chinn, Logan Chinn, Kaydee Dow, and Elijah Chaparro; and many beloved extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Emmett Charles Jay-Nesahkluah; her daughters Annette Jay-Nesahkluah and Amanda Kay Chew; her father and mother, Jack and Jacqueline Cunningham.

Christine will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
