Christopher Bradley McKibbin, 42, passed away April 7, 2026, in Wichita, KS. He was born August 16, 1983, in Wichita, KS to Bradley and Phyllis (Nelson) McKibbin.

Chris graduated from Northwest High School in 2002 and attended Wichita State and the University of Kansas. He loved sports and played competitive baseball from the age of 5 through high school. He especially enjoyed watching and following KU basketball and the KC Chiefs. He could typically be seen wearing a KU or KC hat. He was a lover of music and enjoyed many different genres. He loved people and was a friend to all. He will be missed dearly.

Chris is survived by his parents, Brad and Phyllis McKibbin; sister, Kara McKibbin; daughter, Salyia McKibbin; son, Lawson McKibbin; Grandmother, Mary Ann McKibbin; significant other, Holly Thielen; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 13, from 1-3 PM at the Maize Recreation Center at 10100 W. Grady, Maize, KS
