Danny Ray Kalp, 79, brother, father and grandfather, passed away on September 2, 2026. Born on July 25, 1947, in Wichita, Kansas, Dan’s life was a whirlwind of travel, taxes and family.

Dan graduated from Wichita State University in 1968. He spent almost 50 years running tax departments of large companies. He helped build tax departments for Koch Industries, Cessna and other assorted companies in several states. He retired in 2020 after moving back to Wichita to help take care of his ailing mother.

He is survived by his sons Dustin (wife Marna), Dennis (wife Wendy) and Daron (wife Gretchen), seven grandchildren Morgan Stafford (husband Jake), Garett, Luke (fiancée Madi), Hayden, Dylan Cook (wife Tanaya), Mercedez Chadic (husband Drew), and Zakk and six great grandchildren.
