Doris Josephine "Jodie" (McLaren) Elliott, 82-year-old resident of Wichita, Kansas, went to sleep in death peacefully at Reflection Living on the west side of Wichita on October 28, 2024.

Born in Wichita, Kansas, February 8, 1942, to the late Raymond and Doris (Prince) McLaren, Jodie graduated from Wichita East High School in the class of 1960.

As one of Jehovah's Witness since her baptism at the age of 11, Jodie dedicated her life to sharing the Good News of God's Kingdom with others. (Matthew 24:14)

Following high school, Jodie earned her insurance license and worked in the insurance industry until she retired. She loved flowers, kids, and animals, especially her adorable Westie, Trudy.

Jodie is preceded in death by her former first husband, Danny Brickley; her second husband, Paul Elliott; her sister, Mary Ann (McLaren) Rhoda; and her brother, Stephen McLaren.

She is survived by her sister, Katherine McLaren.

Memorial services will be held on November 16, 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, located at 2018 N. Maize Rd, Wichita, KS 67212.
