Gary Wayne Ostrander Jr. age 69 passed away at his home on February 24, 2025 in Wichita, KS. He was born on December 12, 1955 to Gary Ostrander Sr. and Bonnie (North) Ostrander in Fredonia, KS.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gary W Ostrander Sr. and his mother, Bonnie (North) Cox.

Gary is survived by his wife of 49 years, Diana L. (Bradley) Ostrander; children, Jennifer D. (Ostrander) Tinkler of Wichita married to Jason Tinker and their children Payton Tinkler, Gregory Tinkler and Eric Tinkler.

Heather L. (Ostrander) Doroteo of Wichita, married to Andres Doroteo. Children, Noah Ostrander, Giovanni Doroteo, Gabriella Doroteo, Aiden Doroteo, Ariana Rodriguez and Andrea Doroteo.

Gary was of the Pentecostal religion; he retired from Boeing and was a US Army Veteran. He graduated from Ark City High School in 1973 and he attended WSU for college and graduated from there in 1985. He loved to build computers, read sci-fi. Gary enjoyed watching everything from WWE to the Voice. He watched a lot of sports and was a fan of Shockers Basketball and Cardinals Baseball.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29 the Time is TBD. Military honors will be rendered at the service.
