Gina Kay
Ward
Jul 11, 1959 — Sep 21, 2025
Winfield
Gina Kay Ward, 66 years old of Wichita, woefully passed away September 21st, 2025 in Winfield, Kansas. Gina was mother to Zach (Laik) Ward of Colorado and sister to Bob (Carol) Carr, Rhonda (Bob) Eroh, Brenda Epperly and Lana (James) Scruton.
Preceding her in death were her father, Duane Gene Carr, and mother, Jerry Carole (Polsley) Carr. She was ex-wife and good friend of Joe Ward of Winfield.
Gina graduated from Wichita South High School in 1977 and went on to get bachelor's degrees in psychology and Sociology from Wichita State University. Gina was a loving mother to her son Zach Ward and supported him in every way imaginable. She was so proud of Zach and his new wife, Laik. Gina was a high-spirited and strongly motivated woman, always ready for the next task. She loved singing, dancing, working in the garden, painting, and starting or ending a fuss on Facebook. She poured her love into this world and would have liked knowing she passed away on the International Day of Peace. We hope you know her love has made its way to you. She will be severely missed, never forgotten. Those who loved her most will hold her in their hearts till the end of time.07/11/1959
