Janet Lee Slanker, 71, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025.

Born in San Diego, California, to Jean Riggs Slanker and Earl Slanker, Janet lived a life devoted to compassion, purpose, and service. As a dedicated Social Worker, she gave selflessly to those in need and made a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals and families.

Janet was a loving mother, a sincere friend, and a vibrant presence. She lived life to its fullest, radiating kindness, passion, and unwavering love in everything she did. Her strength, generosity, and sense of purpose will always be remembered.

She was joyfully greeted in heaven by her beloved son, Austin Lee Slanker-Wilson, along with her parents, Jean Riggs Slanker and Earl Slanker.

Her life was a testament to service, love, and resilience. Janet's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
