Janet Wright, 78, went to be the Lord on January 5th, 2025, at her home in Wichita, Ks, surrounded by her children and lots of love. She was born on June 24, 1946, to Roy Keimig and Gladys Teegardin. Janet's siblings were Jon, Judy and Marty. Jon and Judy preceded her in death.

On June 26, 1964, she married Larry Nanny in Wichita, Ks. They were divorced after a 13-year marriage. This marriage produced three children Larry Nanny, Denise Alfaro, and Chrissy Karst, all of Wichita. She also had a wonderful 20-year marriage to Ed Wright. She reunited with Larry Nanny in 2008, until he preceded her in death in 2013.

Janet lived in Wichita all of her life with the exception of Jacksonville Florida for two years, where Chrissy was born. She was involved at Family Church with Larry Sr prior to his passing, and remained very active until her health condition kept her mostly in the home. She spent most of her career as a Bookkeeper at Canteen Company, where she retired. During her younger life she enjoyed camping and playing darts locally and regionally. Her greatest love in the last thirty years were her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She was blessed with 5 Grandchildren, and 6 Great Grandchildren. She would do everything she could to attend any event they participated in, including traveling to baseball tournaments or football games.

Janet was blessed with Grandchildren Sean Nielson, Britt Nanny, Bryce Nielson, Jake Karst, and Alex Karst, and Great grandchildren Taylor, Perri, Pierce Porter, Maddux, and Isaiah, all of whom she loved very dearly.

A memorial service will take place 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Baker Funeral Home West 3224 N. Tyler Rd. Wichita, Ks.
