Jeffrey Milton Cupps, age 72, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2025.

Jeff was born on April 14, 1953, in Hutchinson, Kansas, and spent his early years in Anthony, where he graduated from Anthony High School. He attended Kansas State University, earning a degree in Business Administration, and remained a proud Wildcat fan throughout his life.

Jeff lived in the Wichita area for most of his adult years. He was an avid golfer, a loyal follower of K-State football and basketball, and loved keeping up with his grandson's baseball journey. Affectionately known as 'Chef Jeff' by those lucky enough to enjoy his cooking, he found great joy in preparing meals for his friends. He had a keen interest in politics and followed current events closely, often forming strong opinions that reflected his values and convictions. One of the accomplishments he was most proud of—second only to his family—was finally achieving a hole in one.

He is survived by his sons, Matt Cupps (Danel) and Ryan Cupps (Stephanie); his brothers, Terry Cupps (Tara) and Paul Cupps (Linda); and three cherished grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Jean Cupps; his father, Roy Milton Frye; and his adopted father, Everett John Cupps.

A private service will be held by the family to honor Jeff's life.
