Jill Doerflinger was a loving mother and wife who passed away March 21, 2025. The wife of Tim Doerflinger since 1991, she had two children, Rachel (29), and Jacob (26). She is proceeded in death by her father Jerry. Survived by husband Tim, daughter Rachel, son Jacob, mom Carolyn, sister Kim and (Don, Grace, Curtis Knutson), and brother Scott.

With a master's degree in education, she was a teacher for 29 years in USD 259 where she taught 3rd -5th grade ending her career in the library. She loved teaching and connecting with students throughout the years.

Jill had a passion for her family. She loved being a part of her children's lives, watching them grow, and beginning careers in education like she did.

Jill also loved to travel. Table Rock Lake was her and the family's favorite destination early on, then to the beaches of Cabo San Lucas more recently.

Her other great passion was animals. Dogs Cooper, Chloe, Nigel, and Bear were always snuggled up against her no matter where she was in the house. She loved them and any other animal that wandered through the backyard or by the pond.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Baker Funeral Home West, 3224 N. Tyler Rd., Wichita, KS 67205.
