Obituary

In Loving Memory of Kay Ann Forgie McCubbin

Kay passed away surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a lifetime of memories that will be treasured forever. She lived life on her own terms. Embracing every adventure, she rode hard and loved the feeling of the wind blowing through her hair. She believed life was meant to be lived fully, and she did exactly that - with strength, determination, laughter and an unmistakable spirit.

She is survived by her brother, Frank Forgie (Marilyn), her beloved son, Bruce Reynolds, and daughter, Kimberly Casey. Also, her cherished grandchildren: Elizabeth Murphy, Phoenix Reynolds, Camryon Murphy, Colin Norton, Bailey McCray, Colt Norton and great-grandson, Jaylen Murphy who will carry her love into future generations.

There was no one quite like Kay. Her fierce independence, unwavering spirit and love for her family made her truly one of a kind. Though her journey on this earth has ended, the stories she created, the lessons she taught and the love she gave will live on in the hearts of all. She will be deeply missed, forever loved and never forgotten.

“She Rode with the Wind"

By Bruce Reynolds

She never asked the road to bend,

She simply chose the path ahead.

With open skies and fearless heart,

She lived each day right from the start.

She laughed out loud, she stood her ground,

In every mile, her joy was found.

A mother's love, both fierce and true,

Was felt in all she'd say and do.

Her strength became the family's guide,

A steady light, a source of pride.

Now gentle winds still softly blow,

As if to let her loved ones know,

"I'm riding on where skies are blue,

Don't cry for me - I ride with you.”
