Obituary

Kirk Douglas Farrar (Bubba, Doug) Born May 16, 1960, in Wichita Kansas

Passed away August 20, 2025, in Wichita Kansas Parents Helen Gean Alexander (deceased) Leo Eugene Farrar (deceased) Wife Jamie Spears Brothers Larry Farrar of Wichita and Robin Farrar of Derby Children, Brittany and Tyler, Nikki and Cal, Blake and Kas, Mason and Jaden, Trinity and Logan Grandchildren, Ivy Working with his brother Robin at Robin's auto shop "Carology".

Kirk retired from UPS after 24 years. Kirk loved the Miami Dolphins, loved going to watch them on TV with his dad. He enjoyed watching and listening to podcasts and any football programing. He was a huge Dan Marino fan. Kirk loved all animals, this started as a child but as a young adult he got his first dog, a German Shepard named "Chico" who was his constant companion for years. He especially loved his blue and gold Macaw "Roady" of 34 years. Loved his cat Oscar who randomly showed up on his doorstep. He enjoyed feeding all the squirrels and birds, except the Blue Jays that would steal all the peanuts. He had a very large collection of M&M candy dispensers and other collectibles.

He was always helping people, he never said no to a request for help. Jamie was the love of his life. He admired her and the life she had built for herself and her children before Kirk was a part of their family. You knew from everything he said about her that he loved beyond words. The life they had together was only matched by the love they had for each other.
