Loretta Ann Schmelzle age 69 of Goddard, KS, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2024, in Wichita, KS. She was born on March 26, 1955, to Orville Orthelo Anderson and Louiza (Fryar) Anderson in Wichita, KS.

Loretta worked at the Kansas Department of Revenue here in Topeka as a Certifier of Motor Vehicles for many years. She attended several churches throughout her life and her passion was to spread the word of God.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George Schmelzle, and two brothers. She is survived by Son, Thomas (Jolynn) Miller and their child Josie; Son, Dwight (Melinda) Miller and their children Ebben, Skyler, Sonja, and Hailey; Son, Stephen (Michelle) Miller and their children Sylvia and Isaiah; Son, Kenneth (Essie) Miller and their children, Michael, Monica and Charity;10 Great-Grandchildren and four sisters, Helen (Roy) Lynch, Lynn Trammell, Irene Hamilton, and Cora Anderson; Brother, Tim Anderson.
