Loyda Roman, 72, of Wichita, KS, passed away on August 12, 2026 surrounded by her immediate family. She was born November 17,1953 in Manhattan, New York to Victor and Marta Roman.

She had a lifelong passion for the arts and enjoyed pencil coloring, puzzles, crocheting and reading. She frequently visited museums, the zoo, the botanical gardens and aquariums. She shared this love with her family but especially with her son Eric and her granddaughter Alexis.

She spent much of her time caring for those around her. 

Loyda is survived by; her son, Eric and his wife; her granddaughter, Alexis; her siblings and many other beloved family members and loved ones, including nieces, nephews, goddaughters and dear friends and coworkers.

She is preceded by; her parents; and most recently her husband Martin whom passed within the last year.

Her favorite flowers were Carnations and Orchids.
