Maria Naputi Benavente, December 8, 1957 - March 30, 2026, of Wichita, Kansas, formerly of  Inarajan, Guam, was called home by our heavenly father at the age of 68.

In her new life, Maria now joins her Granddaughter, Serenity F.S. Naputi; Parents, Jesus C. and Maria L. Naputi; Father and Mother-in-law, Jose and Maria Duenas Benavente; Brothers, Enrique L. Naputi and Joseph L. Naputi; Sisters, Dolores Sablan, Espresocia N. and Jesse Meno (Therese, Georgine), and Annie L. Naputi; Sister- In-Law, Connie Naputi; Brothers-in-law, Joel Benavente and Gene Benavente.

She will be missed and remembered in the hearts of her Husband: Jay Q. Benavente; children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter: Sheila Maria and Bobby (Robert, Ryon); Joleenmarie (Joleialanimarieapua, Jameelamululani), Ralph Jesse and Ashlee (Carin, Aden, Aubree); Joseph John and Jeri (Olive, Ariel Maria and Marcus (Zenaya), Dylan and Sara, Sydney and Cameron); Mathew and Therese (Gabrielle, Leah, Jake), Richard Joseph (Lashae, Josiah, Lazariah, +Serenity); Anthony Shawn; Jimmie Jay and Samantha (Leilani, Ysabella); Varavout; Patrick Pio; Jaydiene Maria and Jeremy (Eliana Maria, Lillian); and Jaysalyn Maria and Calen (Vincent, Alaina Maria).

Maria will also be missed dearly by numerous family members and friends.

Last and Final Respects for Maria will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm, with a service at 2:00 pm at Baker Funeral Home West, 3224 N Tyler Rd., Wichita, KS 67212.
