Marlies Anneliese Delventhal age 94, passed away on February 5, 2025 in Wichita, KS. Marlies Anneliese Eidenberg was born December 8, 1930 in Wuppertal-Elberfeld Germany.

She married Jimmy G. Delventhal on February 5, 1954. She attended High School and Charm School in Germany. In Wichita she was a retail saleswoman for Lewins Dress Shop. Marlies volunteered in political elections. Marlies had a heart for the homeless population and generously gave to organizations meeting their needs. She attended the Lutheran Church. Her hobbies are needlepoint and Knitting. She won many awards for her needlepoint. She made many pillows and pictures (works of art) for family and friends. She also spent time knitting Afghans, lap blankets for residents of nursing homes, and beautiful baby blankets. Marlies and her husband, Jimmy, enjoyed many Las Vegas vacations and enjoyed fishing trips to many lakes in Kansas and Missouri.

Marlies was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Jimmy G. Delventhal. She is survived by her daughter, Lucie Edwards (Seal Beach, California); grandson, Ryan O'Shea, and great grandson, William (Crestview, Florida); nieces, Marsha Fast (Bradley), and Shirley Buller (Roger); Burial Service will be at the Partridge Cemetery, February 10, 2025 at 10 A.M.
