Michelle Renee
Taylor
Mar 3, 1989 — Feb 3, 2026
Wichita
February 3rd, we lost a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, and aunt. Born on March 3, 1989, Michelle was the youngest of Mike and Diane Taylor's three children. She was a woman of spirited personality who found her greatest joy in the enduring bonds of family and her lifelong passion for animals.
As the baby of the family, Michelle shared a uniquely close relationship with her parents. Their unwavering support was a constant in her life, allowing her to stay deeply rooted in the family she loved. Growing up alongside her sister, Angie, and her brother, Brian, as well as a large, lively circle of cousins, she cherished the memories of their shared childhood.
While Michelle did not have children of her own, her nieces and nephews were her world. She was the aunt who would go out of her way for any of them, always showing up with a helping hand or a thoughtful gesture. In recent years, her heart grew for her great-nephew.
Michelle's "happy place" was often found at the racetrack or on a horse. A true animal lover at heart, she had a deep affinity for horses and was rarely without the company of her cherished cats. The friendships she forged at the track were a vital part of her life; she was a familiar face in the community. Michelle's devotion to her family and her passion for animals will be deeply missed.
Michelle is survived by her parents, Mike and Diane Taylor, her grandmother, Pat Taylor; her siblings, Angie (Joe) Patry and Brian Taylor; as well as nieces and nephews, Kaelin (Joseph) Coats, Tobias Coats, Brooke Coats, Kendall Patry, Adien Taylor, McKenna Taylor, and Xavier Torres. She also leaves behind many beloved cousins and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by Helen and Marcellus (Sally) Simon, James (Jim) Taylor, and her uncle, Johnny Taylor.
A Visitation will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, February 9, 2026, at Baker Funeral Home, 3224 N. Tyler Rd. Wichita, KS. 67205 with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 A.M., and burial will be at Maize Park Cemetery 12733 W 53rd Street North Maize, KS. 67101.
