Orstell "Big O" was born March 2, 1940, in Porter Oklahoma to Jessie and Lorene Grays. He passed away September 5, 2025, at Homestead Health Care in Wichita, Kansas.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his nine siblings.

Orstell moved to Wichita in 1957. He served in the Army National Guard of Kansas. He was married to Joan Grays (deceased) for 25 years. He helped raise ten stepchildren. He was a truck driver for a few years. He retired from Vulcan Material Company after 20 years. Orstell became a Jehovah Witness in 1973.

Orstell and Margaret A. Grays were married March 3, 2000. To that union he had 3 stepsons; Jimmy A. Jackson, Robert "Bob" Sweat and Ronald "Ron" Sweat. He served as a ministerial servant. He was a regular Pioneer for 5 years in the Pawhuska, Oklahoma congregation of Jehovah's Witness. He enjoyed working in the ministry sharing the Good News about Jehovah's Kingdom with others. One of his favorite scriptures was Romans 1:11-12. His favorite song was "Just Around the Corner".

Everyone who knew him knew he loved to eat. His favorite food was cheeseburger and tots. Baseball was his favorite sport. He loved Wheel of Fortune.

He has left to cherish his memory his wife, Margaret; sister-in-law, Ina Fay Grays; nieces, Yolanda Brooks and Lynn Grays and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness 2700 South Richmond St. Wichita, Kansas 67217.
