Pamela Edwards, born on October 4, 1955, in Wichita, Kansas, passed away surrounded by love and family on May 6th, 2025. A woman of many passions and endless character, Pamela lived a life full of joy, creativity, and fierce love for those closest to her.

She was the proud mother of two children, Vicki Giltner (married to Kristi Giltner) and Jon Giltner (married to Dawn Giltner), and the cherished grandmother of Stephen, Brice, Anna, Carrera, Jaya, Ayden, Brett, Kynleigh, Audrey, and Kypton. She was also blessed with five great-grandchildren. Her love for her kids and grandkids was boundless, and her pride in them shone through in everything she did.

Pamela was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Edwards; her mother, Jean Edwards; and her brothers, Rusty Edwards and Doug Edwards. She is survived by her brother, Randy Edwards.

Pamela was a gifted florist whose appreciation for beauty bloomed in every bouquet she arranged. She had an eye for color, a heart for flowers, and a soul rooted in nature. She loved her farm life—tending to her goats, chickens, and garden—finding joy in the simple, honest work of growing things.

Artistic at heart, Pamela also found peace in drawing and poetry, often putting her thoughts and dreams to paper in ways that touched those lucky enough to read her words. She danced through life with a smile, always moving to her own rhythm, especially when cheering on her beloved Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs—unquestionably his biggest fan.

A lover of cardinals, music, laughter, and love, Pamela was sassy and sweet, gentle yet spirited—a one-of-a-kind force of nature wrapped in a petite frame. And true to her roots, she held on to that signature Edwards stubbornness until the very end—a testament to her strength, grit, and unshakable will.

She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, resilience, and unconditional love. Her spirit lives on in the flowers she adored, the songs she hummed, and the hearts of those who loved her most.

A celebration of life will be held in honor of Pam. The date and information will be sent out to friends and family soon.
