Pamela Kay Hedden age 76 passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026. Pam was born on July 18, 1949, to Clifford and Jean Rands in Boscobel, Wisconsin.

Pam enjoyed many hours studying and reading the Bible during her life and was a member of Wichita Bible Church where she spent many years in children's ministries serving the Lord in whom she loved with all her heart. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed attending her kids and grandkids activities over the years with sporting events, programs, and rodeo events. Family was one of her most important assets in life.

Pam retired from the Wichita Public School system USD 295, where she taught for 27 years. During her tenure as a teacher her kindness and compassion touched so many kids' life not only in the classroom, but she also opened up her home to tutor students that needed extra help. During her career she was the recipient of the Golden Apple award, nominated twice for teacher of the year, and was recognized twice by St Judes Children's Research Hospital for her support thru the classroom.

She is survived by her Husband of 55 years James Hedden, sons, Brian Hedden and wife Richelle Hedden, Mike Hedden and wife Laura Hedden; Grand Children Samantha Akred and Husband Brandon, Cody Hedden, Coleman Hedden and wife Tori, Aubree Varney, Emmy Hedden, Brinley Hedden. Great Grand Children Kashtyn, Aurora, Steston, Luke, Jade, Fitzgerald.

She is also survived by Sister Vikki Rivero, Brother Doug Rands, and Sister Debbie Martin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Rands and Jean Rands.

A viewing will take place at Wichita Bible Church on March 1, 2026 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with the family present.

In loving memory of Pam Hedden, a memorial has been established for the Children's Ministry at Wichita Bible Church.

A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on March 2, 2026 at Wichita Bible Church 633 South Woodlawn Wichita Kansas and the burial will follow at Lakeview Gardens Cemetery.
