Patricia "Pat" Catherine Taylor, Age 92, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on June 6, 2026.

Patricia was born on March 24, 1934, in Seneca, Kansas, to John and Merwina Martin. She married James "Jim" Taylor on September 25, 1954, and together they raised three children. Patricia worked for DPM Meat Packing Company for more than 12 years.

Patricia was a strong woman in every way imaginable. She was always willing to help those in need, loved unconditionally, and always showed up when it mattered most. She cared for others and even when her own health began to fail, she continued to do whatever she could for those around her. A devout Catholic, her faith remained an important part of her life and guided the way she lived her life. She also found great joy in gardening and took pride in tending to her flowers and plants. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her family will remember her as a devoted wife, mother, "Nanny," and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Taylor; her son, John Taylor; her granddaughter, Michelle Taylor; her parents, John and Merwina Martin; and her eight siblings, Charlotte, Rosemary, Elizabeth "Betty", Leroy, Leo, Charles, Anna, and James.

Patricia is survived by two of her children, Kathy (Lyle) Palmer and Michael (Diane) Taylor; four grandchildren, Ami (Justin) Anderson, Monica Campos, Angie (Joe) Patry, and Brian Taylor; eleven great-grandchildren, Cale, Madison, Andrew, Kamden, Carter, Kaelin, Tobias, Brooke, Kendall, Aiden, and McKenna; four great-great-grandchildren, Medellin, Aaliyah, Xavier, and Gabriella; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
