Phyllis Jean Cunningham (Sharp) Roehs passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 92 at the Family Health & Rehabilitation Center in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born on August 7, 1932, in Mingo, West Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Rita (Shreve) Cunningham, Husband Allen Roehs sister Marie Rucker and half-brother Ronald Cunningham.

Phyllis lived in Marlinton, WV for many years where she worked at the Marlinton Hospital before moving to Davenport, IA in mid-1970's where she continued her career in home health care for several years before moving to Wichita, Kansas in 2008 to live closer to her son and family. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She is survived by her daughter Theresa A. Daniels of Cape Coral, Florida, son Michael L. Sharp (Gretchen) of Wichita, Kansas, niece Jacquelyn Bruce of Canton, OH, grandson David C. Pryor of Dallas, GA, granddaughter Gail M. Pryor of Raleigh, NC, grandson Robert L. Sharp of Wichita, Kansas, granddaughter Mathilda L. Mathias (Kyle) of Maize, Kansas, and great grandson Evan A. Anderson of northern Virginia.

At her request her remains have been cremated and will be returned to her birthplace of Mingo, West Virginia at a later date.
