Rick L Tillett was born February 24, 1954, in Salina, KS, to Merlin (Bud) and Wanda Tillett (both deceased), and passed peacefully on July 14, 2026 in Wichita, KS, surrounded by his family.

Rick was preceded in death by his stepson, Jody Ray Fetter; his in-laws, Les and Doris Fetter; and brothers-in-law Ron and Eldon Fetter. He is survived by his wife Peg, of the home, 2 sons Travis (Lindsey) of Salina, and Kyle of Colorado Springs, granddaughters Kate of VA and Madyson of Salina, sister Jackie (Tillett) McBride of Salina, brothers Rod of Salina and Rory of Kanopolis, sisters-in-law Barb Fetter of Salina and Joan Fetter of Bucklin, as well as nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Rick was a very proud Navy veteran who served his country for 10 years. He also adored his sons and granddaughters. He loved Kansas City Chiefs football and KU Jayhawks basketball, and his favorite leisure activity was going gambling with Peg.
