Robert "Bob"
Earl Williams
Jan 3, 1952 — Sep 12, 2025
Wichita
It's with profound sadness that we say, Robert Earl Williams (Bob), age 73 of Wichita, passed away September 12th, 2025 at Wesley Hospital in Wichita Kansas, after ongoing struggles with lingering health issues.
Bob was born on January 3rd,1952 in Wichita Kansas to Lee and Erlyeen (Agnew) Williams. After finishing high school at East High in Wichita, Bob went on to be a machinist at Boeing aircraft, later Spirit Aero Systems, where he continued to work for 42 years. Bob met the love of his life, Linda Ewing, and married within months of meeting each other. They married in 1991 in Las Vegas. When Bob and Linda married, he inherited a son Christopher and in 1993 he inherited a daughter Kristi. To all that new Bob, especially his family, he was a treasure, a gift, selfless to no end. He was kind, funny, had a quirky personality and above all, he adored Mom (Linda). It was never just Bob it has always been and will always be "Bob and Linda". There are just no words to say all that he meant to everyone he met. Dads, Bob, favorite pastime was woodworking. You wanted something, he could build it and he did. He was an incredible craftsman.
Mom and dad are very much home-bodies and did not travel much. The 2 trips that they did take, not counting the wedding and honeymoon, were to Dodge City and Kansas City, that they took with their son Christopher and his wife Tanya. He had the time of his life.
He is survived by his wife Linda, son Christopher Koch and his wife Tanya of Canada, daughter Kristi Jones and her husband John of Wichita, sister Sherry Cook and brother-in-law Leroy of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and 2 nieces Michelle Roberts of Nevada and Beverly Dayton and husband Don of Florida, brother in law Ralph Ewing of Cheney KS., nephew Chad Ewing and family of Haysville, KS, grandson Kristopher Brown and 6 great grandchildren - Peyton, Lilly, Jakob, Annabelle, Tobias and Evelyn all of Wichita.
No funeral service will be held. A family gathering will be held at a later date.
