Robin Eileen Deaner was born February 5, 1969, to Jack Gwinn and Mary Gwinn of Chicago, Illinois. Robin passed away July 9, 2026, at 10:55 A.M. at her home, in the care of hospice, surrounded by loved ones in Salina, KS. 

Robin leaves behind three children Joshua M. Deaner, Jessica M. Shields and Jonnie M. Deaner. She also leaves behind her loving husband Laif C. Deaner, her brother Harold Gwinn and his wife Patricia Gwinn. She also leaves four nieces Erica Hiebsch, Shannon Biggs, Ashley, McGeshick and Samantha Lechner as well as a nephew Harold Gwinn Jr. Among these family members, she also leaves behind four grandchildren from daughters Jonnie and Jessica, along with many other family members that are located in the upper Midwest. 

Robin was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Mary Gwinn, brothers Tracey Gwinn, Jackie Gwinn and Richard Gwinn and sister Teri Newhouse as well as mother-in-law Helen Deaner. 

Robin loved everyone and would lend a helping hand even if they were struggling. She spent her time caring for her nieces, nephews and grandkids, along with the many pets they took in and cared for. 

Robin was a faithful and God-fearing woman who knew where she was heading after death. 

A private service was held July 14, 2026, for friends and family in Salina, KS at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
