Rosalinde (Rosie) Torres 68. Passed away on Sunday October 20th, 2024 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita Kansas,

She was born on October 17th, 1956 in Newton Kansas to Felix and Kathleen (Martinez) Torres. Her parents preceded her in Death along with one brother Patrick (Gordy) Torres.

Rosie will be dearly missed. She worked at Big Dog Motorcycle for many years. Before her retirement she worked at Black and Decker

in Hesston, Kansas. Rosie was also a very huge fan of the band Led Zeppelin who got the opportunity to see them perform live in Dallas, TX when she was in her 20s and also in Kansas City in 1995 and 1998.

Rosie's wishes are to have her ashes spread over the Pacific Ocean.

Surviving members of her family include Daughters Marie Crandell of Wichita, Katie Hernandez of California, and Son Jerry McAfee III of California. Six grandchildren (Tony, Taylor, Lori, Issac, Vincent and Little Jerry the IV).

Three brothers Vincent "Barney" (Norma) of Newton, KS, Pedro "PeeWee" (Becky) of Newton, KS, and Alex (Jana) of Wichita, KS; Two sisters Cecilia "Nini" Llamas of Newton, KS and Victoria "Vicky" Torres of Wichita, KS and One sister in-law Leslie Torres of Topeka, KS.
