Roy Gene Crawford, Jr, age 73, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on August 9 2026. He was born on July 23, 1953, in Wichita, Kansas, to Roy and Geraldine (Pittman) Crawford.

Roy will be remembered for his warmth, humor, tenacity for entrepreneurship, and devotion to his family. He is survived by; daughters, Dr. Eboney (Richard) Jackson of San Antonio, Texas and Taleeda Crawford of Houston, Texas; grandson Richard Jackson; nieces Melissa Jackson, Christina Dickens, and Lily Jackson. 

He was preceded in death by; his parents, Roy Crawford, Sr. and Geraldine Pittman Crawford; sister Vaniece Crawford; brother Vincent Crawford; and niece Summer Jackson

A graveside service at Old Mission Cemetery will be held on September 14, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:30 p.m. at 1514 N. Kansas Ave Wichita, Kansas. Guests are encouraged to wear blue and share a memory. His family is grateful for the kindness and support shown during this time.
