Scott Albert Fritz, 63, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Saint Francis Hospital in Wichita, KS. Scott was born on March 19, 1962, in Blytheville, Arkansas.

Scott worked at Bethany Lutheran Church as a custodian for many years. He then started working for Boeing/Spirit and was employed there for 40 years, in facilities maintenance. He was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church. Scott enjoyed playing cards with friends and family. He enjoyed traveling to the Oklahoma casinos and shooting pool with his wife. He liked going to estate/garage sales. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren; they lit up his world.

Scott is survived by his wife of 42 years, Marilyn Fritz; his son Jared Fritz of Wichita; his daughter, Jamie Andes (Kiley); and his grandchildren, Bella, Zoey, Junior and Sebastian of Winfield; his father, Jay Fritz; brothers, Brad, (Sue), Rod; sister, Jodie, and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Harriet Kaye Fritz.

A visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Baker Funeral Home, 3224 N. Tyler Rd. Wichita, KS. The Memorial Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Ascension Lutheran Church, 842 N. Tyler Rd, Wichita, KS 67212.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established at Tisdale Methodist Church at 17507 US-160, Winfield, KS 67156, for Scott's grandchildren.
