Sherrie Lynn D'Arelli (Cook)

Sherrie D'Arelli (55) was born on August 25th 1969 in Wichita, KS to Albert and Patricia Cook. Sherrie accepted Christ at an early age and was a devoted Christian. Sherrie was baptized on February 5th, 1978 at First Baptist Church.

Sherrie received her formal education at Campus high school then proceeded to receive her associate's degree in professional childcare. In 1997, Sherrie married her lifelong companion, Tim D'Arelli. In this union they welcomed their only son, Elijah D'Arelli, into their lives. Sherrie devoted her life to Jesus and praised His name every day.

In her childhood, she loved going to church, attending the choir, and performing puppet reenactments. She also enjoyed listening to her favorite band, New Kids on the Block. As an adult, she had a passion for helping people and caring for children. She housed several foster children before eventually adopting a newborn, Elijah D'Arelli. In 2023, she welcomed a grandson who was the light of her life. She loved being a grandma.

Sherrie D'Arelli departed this life on Tuesday, December 17th, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Cook, her mother, Patricia Cook, and her brother Nathan Cook.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Tim D'Arelli, her son, Elijah D'Arelli (Sofia D'Arelli), and her grandson, Gianni D'Arelli and a host of other relatives and friends.
