Sherrill Jean (Setzer) Sparks, 92, of Wichita, passed peacefully into her heavenly home on September 17, 2026.

Sherrill was born on February 1, 1934, in Oklahoma City to Vircelle Eugene and Ura Agnes Setzer. She graduated from Classen High School and attended Oklahoma City University (OCU) in Oklahoma City, OK.

Sherrill committed her life to Jesus Christ many years ago and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family and her faith was the center of her life. She enjoyed a career of working with a local florist. She will be remembered for the love, warmth, and devotion she shared with those around her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Travis "Tab" Sparks, her daughter Nan Norton, and her grandson Taylor Thornburg.

She is survived by her daughters Pam Summervill and her husband Marc, and Kay Sparks; her grandchildren David Dykes (Melissa), Heath Tawater, Sydney Merz (Kyle), Alec Wilson (Emma), Adam Wilson (Alexandra), Julie Norton, Chynna Norton; ten great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Sherrill leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love through her family and the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. May she rest peacefully in her heavenly home. 

Services will be held October 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery 13313 N. Kelley Ave. Oklahoma City, OK, 73131.
