Stephanie Marie Timmons, 44, of Wichita, Kansas passed away Thursday July 4, 2024. She was born October 29, 1979, in Augusta, Kansas, the daughter of Mary Henderson and Jerry Duane Timmons. Stephanie is the youngest of 3 children. Her eldest brother Shane Timmons and her older brother Michael Timmons.
Stephanie graduated with her G.E.D. through Dunbar Learning center in May 2000 after having her 1st child Octavia Alicia Morris on September 26, 1997, with William Scott Morris in Wichita, Kansas.
Stephanie went on to become a licensed beautician through the State of Kansas and worked as a cosmetologist for a number of years in numerous beauty shops. Stephanie also became a highly skilled mechanic and complex machine operator working for the Spirit AeroSystems company for over 12 years beginning in 2011. Stephanie prided herself with the quality of work she produced and was highly regarded by her peers and administration. Stephanie was an integral part of producing one the most traveled commercial aircraft in world history. She was also a proud member of the I.A.M., the International Association of Machinists.
She later was a mother again to Aleca Chanel Timmons on November 16, 2006. Stephanie was to meet her husband Victor in March of 2007. This was the beginning of their 17-year relationship. Together they had Alexiana Jayden Carr born on July 16th, 2008. Stephanie and Victor were engaged in 2015 and later became husband and wife.
Stephanie is preceded in death by her father Jerry Duane Timmons on September 17, 2003, from an automobile accident. Stephanie took her father's love for animals and all living creatures with her in life and love for Pink Floyd music.
Survivors include husband Victor M. Carr and their daughter Alexiana Jayden Carr of Wichita, Kansas; daughter Octavia Morris her husband Trey Martin and their children Weston, Watley and Waylon, Mother Mary and stepfather Patrick Howard and daughter Aleca Chanel Howard of Wichita, Kansas
Funeral ceremony will be held on Saturday July 13, 2024, at 9:00 A.M. at West Ridge Community Church 7315 W. 13th St. N. Wichita, Kansas 67212. Reception to follow services in gymnasium. Please send cards and flowers to West Ridge Community Church Friday the 12th for services to begin the following morning.
