Thomas J. Blake, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, age 76, passed aways on August 18 th , 2025, in Wichita, KS. He was born on January 31, 1949 to Robert and Helen Blake in Sterling, KS.
Thomas worked as an Operations Manager for JCI Industries for 25 years before retiring in 2012. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, grilling steaks, reading, and watching old Westerns. He enjoyed gardening and watching sports. He was an avid Chiefs, Royals, and K-State fan. He loved watching his grandkids at their sporting events. He had a kind heart and would do anything for his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Beverly (Christensen) Blake, daughters Karen Ornelas and Sharon (Todd) Levey, grandchildren Jarrod (Brenda) Ornelas, Noah (Shelbi) Ornelas, Madeline (Felix) Taylor, Joshua (Maddie) Levey, Carson Levey, and Connor Levey, great-grandchildren Melanie, Roman, Isaiah, Cambria, and Corrine. He is also survived by his siblings Steve (Judy) Blake, Stanley Blake, Bill Blake, Glenda (Rick) Hooper, Dennis Blake and special nephew and niece Nick and Valerie.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local animal shelter.
A special come and go luncheon in honor of Tom will be held on October 5, 2025 from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Hampton Villas Clubhouse located at 10720 W Clubview Rd, Maize, KS 67101.
