Obituary

Thomas "Tom" Laudermilk, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away at the age of 76.

Born on March 5, 1949, in Wichita, Tom was raised in College Hill and graduated from East High in 1967. He went on to dedicate more than three decades of his career to Beechcraft, where he worked for 31 years with loyalty and pride.

For 49 years, Tom was an active member of the Wichita Fellowship Club, where he built lifelong friendships and made a lasting impact on the community.

Tom had an adventurous spirit and an enthusiasm for life. He found joy in exploring the world through SCUBA diving, photography, and traveling—always seeking new experiences and discoveries. His love for adventure reflected his fearless, vibrant approach to life.

He will be remembered for his generosity, his curiosity, and his ability to find joy in both the everyday and the extraordinary.

Tom is survived by his wife, Alicia, and her children, Jaime, Kristin and Scott; and his two daughters, Jennifer and Suzanne. He is also survived by multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and his older brother, Alfred.

His Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the Jim James Memorial 101 Club, 2206 E. 101st St. N, Valley Center, KS. His favorite meal will be provided after the service.
