Vera Louise (Warner) Siemens passed away Friday, August 23rd, 2024. Vera was born on September 14th, 1930, in Wichita, KS to Willard and Shirley (Baumann) Warner. Vera spent her childhood in Wichita along side her 2 sisters, Shirley (Raux) and Sharon (Kraft). At a young age Vera started working and held a wide variety of jobs among which were, Head Usherette of the Miller Theater, a salesperson for Munshines Fashions and later an Executive Secretary to the Head of Engineering at Boeing Aircraft.

After graduating from Wichita East High School in the class of 1948, she attended Wichita State University. At WSU she joined the Sorosis sorority, which is now known as Pi Beta Phi. One evening a sorority sister convinced her to go on a blind date and that night she ended up
meeting the love of her life. She married Allen Glen Siemens on March 5th, 1955, at Woodland United Methodist Church in Wichita, Ks. She and Allen both said that their lives began on the day they walked up the isle of that church and would end when they went back down that same isle.

Throughout her life, one of Vera's strongest traits was her optimism. She always believed that things would turn out all right. Spreading her joy wherever she was, she never met a stranger. Believing in a life like the words of her favorite song "What a Wonderful World" Vera is preceded in death by her loving Husband Allen, her Mother and Father, and both of her Sisters. Survivors include her son Michael (Susan Dunn) of Rolla, MO and her daughter Stephanie (Michael Little) of Los Angeles, CA.

A Memorial service is being held September 28, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. Woodland United Methodist Church, 1100
West 15th Street North, Wichita, Kansas
