Weston (Wes) John Quast passed away peacefully at the Kansas Veterans Home in Winfield, KS, where he had been a resident for five plus years due to his Parkinson's disease. Wes was a retired US Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1970.

Wes was the son of Alexander Quast and Mary Eleanor (Dory Modrow) Quast, both of whom preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his sisters, Judy and Ella May, and brother Albert. sisters, Georgianna and Leone survive him.

He is also survived by his wife, Sally Lynne (Pigg); his son, Weston Jr. (Andrea); his much-loved grandsons, Xander (Kaitlyn), Drew, and Wyatt; and his granddaughters, Ashley and Alyssa. Wes Sr. also has a daughter, Crystal.

He is survived by his stepsons, Billy Murphy (Kayla), and his beloved granddaughter, Halee. His great-grandsons, Jasper Wyatt, and Chad Murphy (Jennifer), and grandsons, Joshua and Noah. He was very proud of his family and loved all the good times they had throughout the years.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 6, 2026, at The Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1750 N. Tyler Rd, Wichita, KS 67212.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Covenant food pantry, where Wes volunteered for several years.
